Feature Content - Interview with Carly Phillips and Dare To Take (Release Date: May 3, 2016)

A one-night stand.
A secret.
A mistake they tried to forget.

On leave from the army, Tyler Dare is just looking for a little fun, but his best friend's sister is off limits. Yet unable to deny how sexy and alluring she is, he finds it all too easy to succumb to a night of passion and heat that ends the next morning in the worst way possible.

There are just some guys you don't touch--even someone as innocent and inexperienced as Ella Shaw knows that. But when her brother's best friend is up for grabs and willing, she can't resist. After all, she's wanted him for years…

Now, Ella is stranded on a tropical island with a hurricane bearing down, and only Tyler can save her. It's his chance to make amends for the past and show the woman he's never forgotten that he's coming after her . . . in more ways than one.

Feature Content: Interview with Carly Phillips

1.Where do you get your inspiration from when writing?

I get inspiration from everywhere. Any nugget of information can turn into a character’s background or quirk, from TV, to magazines, etc. I’m always on the lookout!

2. Can you tell us a bit about your current work in progress?

I’m starting a brand new series, Billionaire Bad Boys – Going Down Easy (book 1), Going Down Fast (book 2) Going Down Hard (book 3). Here’s the first blurb:

Billionaire Bad Boys: Rich, Powerful and sexy as hell.

Billionaire Kaden Barnes has a reputation for being difficult and always gets his way. With his alpha male tendencies, he's unable to keep a secretary for long. Enter his newest hire, Lexie Parker. She's no-nonsense, efficient and all business … she’s also hot as sin and soon starring in Kaden's dirtiest fantasies … he may think he’s a calling the shots, but for this bad boy, going down easy has never felt so good.

3. Did you always want to be a writer?

I didn’t always want to be a writer. I loved being a student, went to college and law school but hated practicing law and the real world. I’m more of an introvert and that career nearly did me in. I became a mom and then started writing what I loved reading, which was / is Romance. Once I started writing I knew I’d found what I was meant to do.

4. Which character from any of your books is your favourite?

Aww, you KNOW that’s like asking me if I have a favorite child! But if I must pick, Ian from Dare to Love, because he started it all. He, to me, is the most unique of all the siblings because he feels responsible for them all. I adore him.

5. What was the hardest book in your series you had to write?

This last book, Dare to Take. I think mentally I felt like I had exhausted the backstory for all the characters related to Robert Dare (the cheating father) and so knowing this was the end for me, it was more difficult.
